The dissertation topic revolves around conceptions of normal parenthood on a Swedish commercial parenting site. The thesis will deconstruct thematic and rhetoric techniques of how to talk about what is being perceived as normal or deviant but also to uncover conversation on conversation; that is, rules of the `normal´ conversation online.

A gender–based analysis of equal access to land in Rwanda – Opportunities, challenges and solutions

The PhD project is about ‘the early impact of Land Tenure Reform (LTR) on women’s possibilities of accessing land in Rwanda’. LTR officially started in 2010 and it is planned to end by 2013. This thesis will be a compilation of four related papers with the general aim of looking at the process of implementation of LTR and its contribution to women’s land rights so far. It will also capture women’s lived experiences in reference to access to and control over land.
The theoretical framework is based on feminist theories, implementation theory and the evolutionary theory on land rights.

My PhD project focuses on children´s experiences of shared residence, i. e. sharing their time between two households after the parental separation. The aim of the study is to explore how these children organize their family life and how they perceive their friendship relations, their leisure and their relationships with parents and siblings.

The Graffiti Culture, the graffiti writers and the regulators.

This study is about the graffiti culture and how it is appearing in a Swedish city whith about 100.000 inhabitants. The focus is on the interaction between young graffiti writers and those occupational groups who try to modify and regulate the way illegal graffiti is produced. The community uses various strategies to deal whit illegal graffiti. One aim is to find out in what way different actors observe the acts of other participants when they form their strategies.
